Join us for a colorful and festive celebration of Festa Junina – one of Brazil’s most beloved traditions! Look forward to a day filled with vibrant rhythms, dancing, food, workshops, surprises, and lots of joy – and yes, it’s family-friendly!

FREE OUTDOOR PROGRAM | 12:00–16:00

Everyone is welcome to enjoy an afternoon of open activities in the green space outside Turkis. There will be something for the whole family!

Program:

12:00–13:00: Capoeira workshop
13:30–14:30: Samba workshop & performance
15:00–16:00: Forró workshop

You’ll also find face painting, cozy stalls with snacks and drinks, and some small surprises throughout the day.

Note: In case of rain, activities will move indoors.

ABOUT FORRÓ DE BICICLETA

Forró de Bicicleta plays swinging forró music where Brazilian rhythms meet Nordic sounds and jazzy harmonies. With violin, accordion, cavaquinho, percussion, and vocals, they create an atmosphere that makes it hard to stand still!

Their repertoire blends original compositions with forró and samba classics – from tender ballads to upbeat dance tunes.

The band features Mariana Maia on zabumba, pandeiro & vocals, Miriam Ariana on violin & vocals, Niels Ørts on accordion, and Martin Heap on cavaquinho.
