Come and enjoy the rhythms of Cordero & Los Gran Daneses at salsa night at turkis!

Club Camaleón presents Cordero & Los Gran Daneses – an eight-piece salsa orchestra featuring both Cuban and Danish musicians. They promise hardcore salsa and irresistible rhythms, bringing true Formula 1 salsa to turkis!

Before the concert, you can look forward to an intro salsa class with Claus Overbæk from Salsaboyz, including the chance to join a group dance. Behind the DJ booth will be El Radiógrafo.

CORDERO & LOS GRAN DANESES

Since their debut concert in Miami in 1992, Jorge Cordero & Los Gran Daneses have toured the world, released 11 albums, and won four World Music Awards. The orchestra now includes several Cuban musicians as well as two Danish percussionists and is renowned for delivering salsa at the highest international level.

Their latest album, Mi Universo, was released in August and will be presented this evening at turkis. For the recording, Cordero collaborated with musicians from Cuba, Spain, and the US – including the bassist from Los Van Van and the legendary Quintero brothers from New York.

Both in Denmark and across the European salsa scene, the orchestra enjoys great respect, and with the release of Mi Universo, several of Cordero’s earlier tracks have also gone into rotation on radio stations in Latin America and Florida.
