Come to the exhibition and book release of Mohammad Jaafer's "Flashback".
"Flashback" is a visual journey covering the diversity of Sudanese culture and history.
"I don’t see the differences between the tribes and the ethnic groups. I mean, of course they have different languages, different clothes, and so on. But I want to let the Sudanese people know that we are the same. That on a more fundamental level, we are all connected to each other," says Jaafer about the series.
Made in collaboration between Sudanese photographer Mohammad Jaafer, writer and publisher Kristian Thuesen, and teacher at DMJX Søren Pagter.
The exhibition will be visible during ROOTS&HYBRID and SPOT Festival at turkis.
