Experience the performance I, INUK – I, a Human by C:NTACT

Which direction do you take when you’re caught between two cultures? How do you find a way forward when stigma and prejudice create dead ends? What is it like to be seen through others’ assumptions – but rarely on your own terms?

I, INUK explores what it means to be Inuit in Denmark – to navigate the space between culture and identity, and the questions that arise from it.

On stage, people with Inuit roots share their personal stories – about belonging and feeling alien, about pride and prejudice, about culture and language that connect, and what may be disappearing. Through words, music and movement, they create a space where past and present meet, and where questions are asked, but no easy answers are given.
