Le Guess Who? COSMOS x Roots&Hybrid / filmscreening & pre-hangout
Come to a cozy pre-hangout for Roots&Hybrid 2024 on Thursday, May 2nd, in turquoise surroundings. Admission is free, the atmosphere informal and inclusive. Take a look at the bookshelf, settle down with a Turkish tea, take your time to check the festival program - and expect to engage your mind, eyes, and ears with curiosity when we screen films from last year's Le Guess Who? COSMOS project.

LE GUESS WHO? COSMOS
Le Guess Who? COSMOS is a growing global network that connects and inspires musicians, venues, listeners, and communities around the world through film, radio, and interviews. All based on the musical practices, expressions, commitments, and motivations of the local scenes.
These local scenes are called COSMOS Embassies, and their films are documentary, varied with interviews and recordings, as well as artistic. They provide strong insights into innovative music cultures and environments, elevating the Roots&Hybrid festival to new heights in presenting the roots we each come from and the movements that each of us is passionate about or finds particularly important through music.
The small turkis office has been a guest at the Le Guess Who? Festival for several years in a row, and we are incredibly happy with the collaboration that has emerged. If you are not yet familiar with either the festival or COSMOS, we recommend reading more about both them below. Information about the individual Embassies will be released continuously leading up to May 2nd.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
➤ It is possible to move freely during the screening, and it is not a requirement to be present from the beginning. However, we recommend experiencing the entire event and introduction. If you can't make it all, consider which Embassies films you'd like to see in advance and prioritize them.
➤ We all contribute to making it a good viewing experience.
➤ There will be English subtitles, and each film lasts approximately 30 minutes.
➤ The event is for all ages.
