Movement Shaped Like A Heart is an active concert organizer and collectively run record label based in both Aarhus and Copenhagen. With a focus on presenting new music from the Danish underground, Movement Shaped Like A Heart was founded with the intention of building something new rather than waiting for recognition from the established scene.

WARP

warp is powerhouse impro rock+ bending, swaying, warping ambient, droning & totally rocking eclectic soundscapes and catchy melodies cross paths – at times patient, at others exuberant, always together, intertwining. Sweet dreams & hellish fantasies – it’s begun to warp.

On stage: Jens Højbøge Mosegaard (drums), Ellen Marie Yde Kjær (saxophone), Gunnar Feilberg (guitar), Signe Jacobsen (piano + synth), and Timothy Martin (guitar).

FARVEL OG PETER LAUGESEN

Farvel & Peter Laugesen is a new collaboration between Aarhus-based rock band Farvel and veteran poet Peter Laugesen. A cross-artistic and cross-generational project, it brings the two together on equal terms through music.

Farvel’s music emerges from a long process of exploration. In their attempt to become a jazz trio, the band quickly realized the music wanted something else. Now, with free improvisation at the core and an aesthetic more closely aligned with 90s noise rock, the band continues to follow where the music leads, letting go of expectations for the moment. Farvel consists of Halfdan Magnus Stefansson on guitar, Gustav M.K. Lauridsen on electric bass, and Jens Højbøge Mosegaard on drums. In 2024, they released their self-titled debut album.

Peter Laugesen is a poet and playwright, active with more than 50 publications since his debut in 1967. He explores language and its potential to convey experiences of the world. At 83, Laugesen’s readings remain precise, intense, and intentional. In collaboration with Farvel, he draws from his earlier works and selects texts freely in the moment.

Farvel & Peter Laugesen’s first encounter was recorded at Commotion Studio in December 2024 and will be released in early 2026. The concert at Turkis marks the project’s first live performance.

MALINA MIDERA

Malina’s solo project explores the combination of electronic and acoustic sound within an ambient framework, using tape recorders as a main element. It weaves together field recordings, acoustic preparations, songwriting, and electronics into a textured collage. Inspired by organ timbres, church soundscapes, and the distinctive warmth of tape compression, the project creates an immersive and contemplative sonic experience.

Malina Midera (PL) is a pianist, composer, and improviser, sensitive to every sound, and looking for her language. Studied jazz piano at the Academy of Gdansk with a focus on free form and improvisation and also a classical jazz piano approach. Currently, she lives in Copenhagen, and studies master music creation at Rhythmic Music Conservatory.

In addition to music, she is interested in photography and visual arts. She was a part of the VÆKST programme during Copenhagen Photo Festival 2025. She curated few festivals: Idealistic Festival vol 7 (DK) LAAF
Lodz Abstract Art Festival 2024 (PL)
