RAMADAN – CELEBRATE THE BREAKING OF THE FAST WITH US

Food has always brought people together during celebrations. Whether it’s Christmas, harvest festivals, Persian New Year, Diwali, or festive occasions around the world, people gather around the meal and the sense of community. Ramadan is now in full swing – a special time for Muslims, when fasting takes place from dawn to sunset.

We invite both those who are not Muslim and Muslims to join when the fast is broken after sunset. It will be a cozy and atmospheric evening with traditional Middle Eastern food, musical elements, and community across differences.

During the evening there will be a short talk about why people fast and what Ramadan means. You will also experience the live call to prayer that marks the breaking of the fast. Finally, there will be time for questions, conversation, and relaxed social time.

Come and take part in breaking the fast and get to know Ramadan. The event is open to everyone. There is limited capacity to keep the setting intimate. All ticket sales go to charity.
