MUMA - International p/maternity choir

An inclusive singing group for mothers and fathers on parental leave - open to internationals and Danes alike. We will learn easy, catchy folk & circle songs from around the world.

We meet in turkis' cozy space to sing together with other adults - while your children are welcome in the room. 

You have space to attend to their needs, while joining the singing as best you can. It will not be songs specifically for babies - but your child will for sure enjoy the music we make anyway!

There will be a blanket and toys in the centre for them.

PROGRAM

➤ 15 min to arrive & make you and your baby comfortable.
➤ 1 hour singing - easy, catchy folk songs from the world.
➤ 30 min to drink tea/coffee & hang out together.

PRICE & REGISTRATION

COST: 950 kr.

PREREQUISITES

Everyone is welcome - no need to have choir experience!
And don't worry if you cannot join all the sessions - we will repeat songs several times.

LANGUAGE

Spoken language: Danish and/or English depending on the group.
Songs will be in different languages.

TEACHER: Johanne Baadsgaard Lange

Johanne is a singer, performer and music educator - who loves to teach folk songs, rhythm and movement to children and adults across generations.

As an artist, she creates performances with Ensemble ADVENA, sings Bulgarian vocal music with GLAS, and with Nevesta's Voice she has released the award-winning album 'Mother Tongues' - an interpretation of lullabies from the European continent.
