With an unusual lineup, unpredictable arrangements, and a great deal of playfulness, a close interplay is created that feels liberatingly free from clichés yet genuine and well-thought-out. The predominantly traditional Swedish folk music is adorned with everything from contemporary art music to EDM-inspired riffs, resulting in a unique sound that feels both daring and refreshing.

The musicians of RÅ have embraced the mournful seriousness of polskas, the suggestive rhythms of waltzes, and the playful swings of polkas, creating a cohesive whole that challenges the listener while maintaining great love and respect for the musical heritage they uphold. With their unusual lineup consisting of violin, clarinet, and saxophone, the sonic landscape becomes an exciting and fresh addition to the Nordic music scene.
