CHARLOTTE SKADHAUGE
Singer and songwriter Charlotte Skadhauge is a late bloomer. In 2024, at the age of 58, she released her debut album Ræk ud, which was warmly received by both critics and audiences. GAFFA wrote: “Skadhauge sends a message in a bottle filled with good vibrations across the musical ocean.”
She now takes to the road with a seasoned band featuring musicians from The Savage Rose, Jonah Blacksmith, and Lis Sørensen. A concert with Charlotte Skadhauge and her band is a life-affirming experience – full of heartfelt pop and intense rock, carried by a tight ensemble and a wide emotional range.
Charlotte writes Danish-language pop with emotional depth. Deep in her musical DNA are artists like The Beatles, Gasolin’, C.V. Jørgensen, and Fleetwood Mac. Her lyrics explore connection, loneliness, and longing – often circling around how we can break free from powerlessness by reaching out and embracing life.
Charlotte is living proof that it's never too late to pursue your dreams and creativity, even as you approach sixty – especially if the road has been winding. In her younger years, she was part of the Aarhus rock scene as the lead singer of Beauty and the Beat and a backing vocalist for artists such as Anne Linnet’s Marquis de Sade, Lars H.U.G., Gnags, Niels Hausgaard, and Johnny Madsen. Now, three decades later, she returns to the music scene – this time also as a strong songwriter.
Charlotte shares: “Creating this debut album has been my way of overcoming a sense of incompleteness – a feeling I believe many can relate to in their love life, work life, or relationships. I hope to inspire others with the message in my songs: that we all belong in this world, and it’s never too late to act. Say yes to yourself – that’s what I sing about.”

KORTEKORTE
kortekorte consists of six members, but it is especially the front person, Lasse Kortegaard Kristensen, who embodies the core essence of kortekorte’s expression and songs. He is half Norwegian, and it’s clear that his Norwegian roots create special spaces for reflection in the music.
In his backpack of experiences are years as a folk and street musician across Scandinavia and Europe, a degree in music therapy, work as a singer in the vocal groups Naura and Noor, and a nomination for the 2020 Dementia Award.
In 2023, Lasse became nationally known in Norway when he, as one of the main characters in the Norwegian documentary Being Ola, won audiences over. The film portrays Lasse’s friendship with Ola, who has an intellectual disability — a heartwarming story about diversity.
Lasse has for many years lived with psychiatric diagnoses such as schizophrenia, ADHD, and depression, and these experiences form the foundation for kortekorte’s debut album, released June 2025. A concept album filled with captivating life stories and infectious folk melodies — indie-folk and everyday existentialism with hope on the horizon.
