108 SUN SALUTATIONS: KUMBHAKA YOGASKOLE + AARHUS JAZZ ORCHESTRA

A workshop in celebration of the Sun!

We are hosting a workshop featuring 108 Sun Salutations in a collaboration between Kumbhaka Yogaskole, Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, and turkis.

Yoga teacher Kristian Thuesen will offer a thorough introduction to the Sun Salutation and its physical and spiritual significance.

At a certain point, Jakob Sørensen from Aarhus Jazz Orchestra will take over the rhythm with his trumpet.

The intention is for trumpet and breath to merge into one, supporting a shared sense of flow and immersion.

The event takes place at turkis and is part of Aarhus Jazz Festival.

As always, you can either borrow a yoga mat or bring your own.

After the session, there will be time for tea and informal conversation for those who wish to stay.

Please note: This workshop is more physically demanding than our regular classes, but you are, of course, welcome to take breaks whenever needed.
