ARON & THE JERI JERI BAND
Aron & The Jeri Jeri Band is a groundbreaking musical collaboration between New Zealand-born pianist, composer, and producer Aron Ottignon and Senegalese percussion master Bakane Seck. The group merges the intricate rhythms of Mbalax with elements of Afrobeat, jazz, and electronic music, creating a unique and globally resonant sound.
Their performances and recordings showcase an electrifying fusion of traditional Senegalese rhythms, modern jazz harmonies, pulsating electronic textures, and improvisational energy. Their dynamic approach brings a fresh perspective to contemporary world music, bridging the gap between traditional African soundscapes and modern production techniques.
NAMDORI
Tanzanian native Namdori is all about creating spaces to shake ass—the kind she felt were missing in cute little Aarhus. For her, shaking ass isn’t just a vibe; it’s therapy. It works faster and it’s cheaper.
Raised in a world full of rhythm and sound, Namdori’s thirst for music led her to find community in Aarhus, where she got her start with the VVE collective. She’s now continuing her journey with Pana Radio, a non-profit dedicated to amplifying underground genres and supporting diverse voices.
Namdori brings high-energy, boundary-pushing sets that are all about finding peace in movement—not just any movement—NYASH movement.

GODSBANEN DRUM SQUAD
Godsbanen Drum Squad brings the rhythms of Senegal’s coastline straight to the streets and stages of Aarhus. The group is made up of local drummers who share a passion for spreading the powerful sound of the sabar drums. With infectious energy and a strong sense of community, they invite audiences on a captivating journey through traditional drumming music.
