With the show “Kys og Kildevand” (Kiss and Spring Water), Aarhus’ burlesque and cabaret scene comes alive in a light and playful way – with laughter, a twinkle in the eye, and something to reflect on.

A glittering lineup of local and national artists will take you through a cavalcade of gender expressions, body positivity, chaos, love, conflict, climate – and yes, maybe even caterpillars. Expect clapping, cheering, whistling, and laughing as performance art unfolds in its most unpretentious form.

It will be kitsch. It will be camp. It will be cheeky. It will be… other things starting with C!

Behind the scenes are two of Aarhus’ most dazzling women: Maja Søby and Ditte Koefoed Staalgaard – better known in the burlesque universe as Alexa The Tease and Edith Pouséy.

Last spring, they seduced audiences with "Blooming Burlesque" at Rosenteatret’s intimate stage – an evening that ended with sold-out seats and blushing cheeks.

Now they’re back with big ambitions. This explosive cocktail is taking over turkis for a night to remember!

The show will be in Danish – but we’re sure you’ll enjoy it even if you don’t understand the language.
