ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
Lyden af Ruinerne is an immersive multimedia performance about the ruins of Rome, blending sound, video, and poetry.
A voice-over reciting poems in Danish and Italian guides the audience through images of a fragmented world, where ancient remains take on new meanings.
A surrounding soundscape, composed of reworked Italian and Danish folk songs, blurs the boundaries between past and future, North and South, home and estrangement.
Where are you?
Are you coming home, or getting lost in the fragments of memory? Is there hope among the ruins?
