MAMBE - The Voice of a Borderless Musical Revolution
Colombian singer, rapper, songwriter, and activist Mambe is the electrifying force behind a genre-defying project that carries her name. Blending Latin roots, global bass, and Scandinavian innovation, Mambe creates a sound that’s raw, rhythmic, and revolutionary—music without borders.
Alongside Mexican-Danish producer Danochilango, who crafts the hard-hitting beats, Mambe fuses cumbia, dancehall, hip-hop, Balkan brass, and experimental electronics into a hypnotic, high-voltage mix. This is the soundtrack of a global generation—bold, defiant, and deeply danceable.

JOLIE
Jolie brings deep, rhythmic cuts that slip between the cracks of mainstream playlists. She is highly driven by her upbringing with Sukuma culture and seeks the music that reminds her of how the low frequency of the ngoma(drum) moves her. You will therefore, often find her playing Gqom, Kuduro, and bassdriven Afro tunes that carry the feel of both contemporary and old school sounds.
She aims to always play what she finds danceable, and when the vibe is at its highest, you can find Jolie spinning some of her own beats inspired by Durban Gqom with an East African feel.
On the lighter side, she also digs into sounds like Highlife, Hiplife, Bacardi, and more, sharing her great knowledge of both new and old.

CORO
Get ready for a musical journey around the world when Coro takes the stage. Drawing inspiration from a wide spectrum of musical traditions, the band confidently guides the audience through everything from Spanish flamenco and Cuban salsa to Ethiopian jazz and Middle Eastern melodies. The nine-piece ensemble presents both traditional arrangements and innovative, boundary-pushing interpretations that turn expectations upside down. One thing is certain: when Coro invites you to dance, no one stays still.
DJ GÜLCAN
DJ Gülcan took her first step into the entertainment world in 2015 at a small birthday party. For the past 10 years, she has been a popular and sought-after DJ, performing at engagements, henna nights, weddings, and a wide range of events.
She takes great joy in and pride from entertaining people in Turkish, Arabic, Turkmen, and other languages.
MODERSMÅL
Modersmål is a newly launched programme at Gellerup Højskole, offering teaching in Arabic and Anatolian musical traditions. Meet the dedicated teachers and students as they visit turkis to talk about the programme and share a glimpse of what they have learned during the first six months of its existence.
