APOLLO – SONGWRITER & MUSIC CREATOR NETWORK 2025
AUTUMN 2025
Apollo is a network for songwriters, producers, and composers, where everyone is welcome – regardless of genre or experience level. The purpose of the network is to create a committed community that uplifts, develops, and inspires its participants across backgrounds and styles.
Host and facilitator of Apollo is musician/songwriter Marc Facchini, who has been active since 2010 as a touring, recording, and performing artist – both in bands and as a solo artist. Today, Marc works primarily as a solo musician, educator, and facilitator, including at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.
The Apollo network will meet six times during the fall of 2025. Four of the sessions will be facilitated by Marc, while two will feature guest speakers who will give an inspirational talk and a writing assignment. In the past, guests have included Ammar808, Karoline Skriver, and Nanna Bech.
Each session is centered around professional discussion, feedback rounds, and shared meals. Participants are expected to bring a piece of music in progress to each session. In small groups, participants present their work and receive tailored feedback. We acknowledge that sharing your art and receiving feedback can feel vulnerable, and we take great care to create a respectful and supportive environment.
In addition to fostering music and songwriting, Apollo also offers a warm and welcoming community where participants can exchange experiences from across the music industry. Both Marc, AUTOR, and turkis are looking forward to building new connections and welcoming a fresh group into this informal and creative space.
Apollo is open to 20 participants. In the selection process, we aim to ensure as much diversity as possible – in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, genre, and experience level.

KATRINE STOCHHOLM
As a composer, pianist, and co-founder of the band Under Byen, Katrine Stochholm gained major international recognition around the turn of the millennium with her groundbreaking Danish-language songs. Under Byen is regarded as one of the most innovative Danish bands of all time, and as a central member, Katrine helped create three epoch-making and highly acclaimed albums.
Katrine Stochholm is now once again in the spotlight with her third solo album BARNDOMMENS GADE, released on March 8 this year. The album sets Tove Ditlevsen’s poems to music in a vivid, moving, and poetic collection of songs. It received, among other praise, five stars in GAFFA, who described it as “successful, dreamy, impressionistic, and melancholic,” highlighting Katrine as a brave artist and songwriter with a strong melodic sensibility.
Katrine’s artistic practice spans songwriting, live performances, poetry, prose, and sound production.
She holds a degree as a rhythmic composer from the soloist class at the conservatory, where she also teaches songwriting, among other subjects.
JOHANNES SMED: STRENGTHEN YOUR PERSONAL EXPRESSION
Presented by Skabertrang Aarhus x Apollo
Johannes Smed’s workshop focuses on your music, your personal expression, your productions, your songs, your processes, and your artistic potential. The workshop offers practical and concrete artistic input and methods to strengthen your personal project, your expression, your musical identity, your productions, your songs, and your music – to help you move forward in your artistic development.
Participants are asked to bring one of their own compositions, which Johannes will work with. Together, we will explore ways to unfold and amplify the personal expression within the piece.
So bring one of your songs, either live or from a DAW on your computer.
Important! If you wish to have one of your songs/compositions worked on by Johannes Smed, you must contact coordinator Jakob Alsbjerg in advance at: jakobaalsbjerg@gmail.com
