CARLO AHEAD
Carlo Ahead was born in the meeting between the instrumental collective Ahead and rapper Mund de Carlo – a collaboration rooted in hip-hop’s energy while freely exploring form, improvisation, and the thrill of the live moment. Ahead delivers dynamic, hand-played beats that constantly shift and challenge the frame, while Mund de Carlo brings sharp, textured lyricism and technical precision to the stage.
The two first crossed paths when a friend paired them for a concert in Aalborg in the summer of 2024. They met for the first time at soundcheck on the very day of the show – and the musical chemistry was immediate. That spontaneous spark became the beginning of a friendship and a collaboration that has since grown into a unified act with shared vision and a strong live identity.
They are now releasing their second EP and embarking on a new series of concerts in early 2026. Carlo Ahead stands as one of the most compelling live acts in Denmark – a collective and a front figure who elevate each other and create a musical space that both surprises and invites the audience in.
REZWAN TAHA

Musically, she blends Nordic melancholy and the singer-songwriter tradition with Kurdish warmth and soulfulness.
Joining her on sampler and synth is Sebastian Rønde Thielke, the second half of her duo Rest in Beats.
