NORDISKE NOTER
14/3/2026
Doors: 18:00 // Admission: 120 DKK
Experience poet Liv Ea as she recites her beautiful poems in brand-new works written for accordion, electronics, and her own voice and lyricism.
The pieces are composed by Karoline Skriver and characterized by a quiet insistence and a sustained sense of intensity. Liv Ea’s voice weaves in and out of the music, performed by the remarkable Icelandic accordionist Asta Soffia Thorgeirsdottir, creating a shared and equal space between poetry and sound.
After the concert, an artist talk invites the audience into a facilitated exchange with the artists about the Nordic tone in both language and music.
This concert is part of Aarhundredets Festival 2026

NORDISKE NOTER
This concert is the first in a new series titled Nordic Notes, a project created by Karoline Skriver and Asta Soffia Thorgeirsdottir. Throughout 2026, they will also travel to the Faroe Islands, Iceland, and Norway to collaborate with Nordic poets and create new works.
Karoline Skriver works as a composer and musician, often in cross-aesthetic fields. She is the artistic director of Vildværk, a platform for poetic spaces and interdisciplinary collaborations across art forms and borders — including Nordic Notes.
Liv Ea studied at the Danish Writers’ School for Children’s Literature and has published three books, all centered on nature and humanity’s connection to other species. She writes to move closer to the world, to turn it inside out and upside down, and to share it with others.
Asta Soffia Thorgeirsdottir has, since an early age, explored the rich soundscape of the accordion through arranging and performing a wide range of music. She performs both solo and in various constellations at concerts and festivals across the Nordic region.
